Transit/CTS
-School buses should be on time and drive the speed limit
-Buses should come more often
-Free trolley loop along Monticello Rd, Elliot and Avon
-Park & Ride lot at 20/64, with a transit stop
-Improve stops with trees, flowers, & surface if needed
Trails
-Along railroad from Water Street to Carlton (to be built)
-Better connections to Rivanna Trail system
-Bridge over Moore’s Creek at end of Monticello Road
Bikes
-Implement City Bike plan
-Add bike racks at Belmont and Quarry Park
-All streets to 25 mph for safety
Generally
-Better, less glaring lighting in more places, esp. x-walks
-Audible signals, esp. around Industries for the Blind
-Remove street signs and other obstacles from sidewalks
-More trees and landscaping, especially on entry corridors
-Continue placement of trashcans to reduce litter
-Support the “Southern Connector” from Avon to Fifth Street.
-Study a Route 20 connector along Moore’s Creek
-Support putting utilities underground
