Parks
The Belmont Neighborhood has 4 public parks which provide a range of facilities for families and especially for younger children. These open space resources include: Belmont Park, Jordan Park, Quarry Park and Rives Street Park. These are all City parks and maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department. In addition to these traditional parks, Clark School’s playground is used in the summer for various seasonal programs. While the neighborhood appears to be well served by public partks, most are located in the southern part of Belmont and outside of a comfortable 10 minute walking distance from ‘Downtown Belmont’.
